Dr. Farhadi received the 2019 NSF CAREER award in Hydrological Sciences
Dr Farhadi gave a talk at the American Meterological Union in Boston, Massachussets
The topic of her talk was on “Reduced Adjoint Variational Data Assimilation for Estimation of Soil Moisture Profile”.
Our research group attended American geophysical Union in Sanfrancisco
Dr. Farhadi gave an invited talk on “coupled estimation of evapotranspiration and recharge from remotely sensed measurements of soil moisture and land surface temperature.” PhD students Abedeh and Parisa gave talks on “Mapping Evapotranspiration by Assimilating GOES LST and SMAP data” and “A Reduced-Adjoint Variational Data Assimilation for Estimating Soil Moisture Profile.”
Dr. Farhadi’s research and interests were featured in the space and earth issue of the science communication publication, Scientia.
